ABOUT

Centre of Excellence on Efficiency Augmentation is setup by STPI in collaboration with the Government of Karnataka, supported by HPEIPL at Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The CoE is the first of its kind in India which is an immersion of innovation, creativity and new business development for augmentation of the efficiency in all the business verticals, service sector & also in Government operations/projects leveraging emerging Industry 4.0 technologies.

The best-in-class infrastructural facility located at Jayanagar the heart of the Bengaluru City has the following:
• Innovation and Development Lab equipped with latest tools/equipment to support startups to build products / solutions in the identified domains.
• Incubation facility of 16,000 Sq ft (100+ Plug n Play incubation seats)
• Training Facility

Objective – To Support start-ups that would build products and solutions to increase the efficiency of the industrial production and operations, service sector and Government projects, leveraging the emerging technologies.

WHO CAN APPLY

The CoE-EA invites the proposals/applications from Indian Start-ups / companies who are working in Emerging Industry 4.0 Technologies who would like to use CoE-EA Innovation and Development Lab Equipment.
The start-up must be incorporated as a
• Private Limited Company (as defined in the Companies Act, 2013) or
• Registered Partnership Firm (Regd. under section 59 of the Partnership Act, 1932) or
• Limited Liability Partnership (under the Liability Partnership Act 2008)

Terms & Conditions
• Selected start-ups shall share 5% equity with STPI. Visit: ea.stpi.in for more information.
• Each start-up have to book the time slot in advance
• The start-up who wish to avail CoE-EA physical incubation space may approach STPI. The allocation, charges and T&C shall be as per applicable Incubation norms

    • • Explore decentralized energy generation options, emphasizing sustainability, reliability, and community-based power distribution -"Local Power, Global Impact"
  • 4. Smart Manufacturing
    • • Revolutionize smart manufacturing by implementing predictive maintenance strategies, ensuring minimal downtime, and maximizing production efficiency. Propose innovative solutions to transform factories and minimize operational disruptions - "Transforming Factories, Minimizing Downtime"
    • • Integrate robotics and automation technologies to enhance manufacturing processes, emphasizing increased efficiency, flexibility, and precision in production. Develop solutions that empower Industry 4.0 for seamless and advanced manufacturing -"Empowering Industry 4.0 for Seamless Manufacturing"

SELECTION PROCESS

CoE-EA Selection Process would be organized in three (3) phases.
Phase-1: Applications from start-ups are invited through an online contest portal
Phase-2: Shortlisting of Ideas, POCs and Solutions having strong potential through initial scrutiny
Phase-3: Selection of start-ups for this program through pitch-in session.
